 Reliable Evening Babysitters
The babysitters on our register are responsible, caring, professional carers who are usually off-duty nannies, primary school teachers, nurses or mothers. All are over 18 with childcare experience. They are selected after careful interview and reference checks. We pay great attention to their experience with children and whether they have cared for very young babies.
The welfare of your children is always foremost in our minds and we are very aware of how important it is that your child is properly looked after. All our child carers have full Criminal Record Bureau Advanced Disclosure or a foreign equivalent, or they have a an application through us actively in progress.
 We can provide: Childcare either on a regular or irregular basis. For example, you and your partner may play sport together on the same evening every week, or you may want to go on a shopping trip. A babysitting appointment is not restricted to an evening appointment. It can be a weekend (including overnight).
Bookings: Please telephone 01223 475655 to make your booking. Minimum booking: 3 hours. The booking will be confirmed by telephone and we will also email your babysitter’s i.d. to you with brief details of her experience with children. You will be given a babysitter living locally to you, who will telephone an hour before she arrives to check the address and arrival time and to introduce herself. Please give as much notice as possible, especially for Friday and Saturday nights, and over the Christmas period.
Short Notice Bookings: Please book between Monday and Thursday only, in order to provide you with a babysitter. If this is not possible please give us as much notice as you can so that we are able to give you a reliable service.
Requests: We will always check the availability of the babysitter of your choice if you give us sufficient notice. It may not always be possible to supply the same babysitter on every occasion. In practice families find that they get to know two or three local babysitters who cover most of their bookings.
 On Arrival: When your babysitter arrives, please give her a telephone number in case of an emergency. She would also appreciate any relevant information about the children’s bedtimes, allergies or any special words for favourite toys etc. The babysitter is not permitted to give out her own phone number so please ensure that your answer machine is switched off should you need to contact her. At the end of the evening please pay your babysitter directly for her time.
Please note: If there has been a problem with an appointment, then we expect to be informed. In these circumstances, we will follow up on the problem to ensure that the next appointment is successful. However, to protect the overall level of service offered by HDomestic Agency, we may take the following actions:
If a family does not pay a Babysitter, they will taken off HDomestic Agency registration, with no refund of membership.
If a Carer is unreliable, they will be taken off HDomestic Agency registration.
Cancellations: The client must cancel day before the booking, if not the client is required to pay the babysitter for a minimum 3 hour booking, plus the agency fee.
